About Paddington Paws Cattery

At Paddington Paws Cattery, our story began in Spring 2025 when my life changed in more ways than one. After experiencing a heart attack, I found myself searching for companionship — something steady, loving, and full of comfort. That’s when I met Violet, my first British Shorthair, and everything shifted.

From the very beginning, Violet was more than a pet. She was a constant presence — a snuggler, a shadow, a gentle friend. Her demeanor is unlike anything I’ve ever known in a cat: calm, affectionate, and endlessly sweet. Even at the vet’s office, everyone wants a turn to hold her, not just because she’s beautiful, but because she radiates warmth and peace.

Violet became the missing piece of my healing journey. She reminded me what it feels like to be deeply cared for. And through her, I realized I wanted others to experience that same love — the joy of a British Shorthair who seems almost angelic in their devotion.

That’s how Paddington Paws Cattery began. Not as a business idea, but as a calling. I knew I wanted a second British Shorthair for myself, but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to help place these extraordinary cats in homes where they could bring the same comfort, laughter, and companionship that Violet brought to me.

My vision is simple: to raise kittens with the same love and gentleness that I give to Violet, so each one leaves my home ready to be someone’s companion, confidant, and healing presence. Every kitten that passes through my arms carries a piece of my heart, and I am honored to share that gift with others.
